The morning began with Elizabeth leading Michael and Bill and the team with a gentle 12 mile virtual cycle from Fowey Harbour up to the Lost Gardens of Heligan where they set up their camping oven and produced the most tasteful Fudge topped with lots of chocolate as can be seen in the pictures!
The tradition of licking the stirring spoon went to Rita!! Some pictures just say it all!!
This is the end of our second week and we are celebrating with breaking our target of £1,000 set last Monday. The grand total raised is now
£1.137.50 for KingsCare and their invaluable work for the people of Newton Abbot. Thank you.
Our team will be resting over the weekend keeping out of the way of the crowds traveling down to enjoy Devon and Cornwall tomorrow. They have covered 123 miles so far and looking forward to the next 85!
