Day 17 and the morning starts with renditions of Tina Turner`s “Simply the best” floating through Southlands, sung by Bernie, Ron, Pearl, Francis, Mary, Rita and after lunch Cocktails and Mocktails for everyone.
I understand there was some progress with the cycling but I`m not sure how much of the 10.8 miles that should have been covered was!!! There certainly isn’t any photographic proof as can be seen from the pictures below!
Everyone had a wonderful time and it is important to keep ones vocal cords well oiled.
Tomorrow is the final day of cycling and we look forward to Cllr Richard Jenks Mayor of Newton Abbot virtually welcoming the cyclists to Lands End at 3pm.
