After a weekend to re-fuel, the Southlands team were ready and raring to cycle the 12 miles to arrive in picturesque Looe. The residents tried their hand at making traditional Cornish Rock Cakes made with saffron which has in the past been grown in Cornwall.
Not only have the residents been busy cycling and baking today they have also smashed their original fund raising target of £500 and the current balance stands at an amazing £620.00 WOW!
Over lunch we shared with the residents all the messages of support and encouragement from family, friends and well wishers and they have decided to raise the target to £1,000!!
