Tuesday 11th May: We are halfway through our cycle-athon and we have reached St Pauls Cathedral today.
Since the beginning of this courageous journey, the residents of Southlands have cycled 135.4 miles. They have done a brilliant job and worked extremely hard. The residents are overjoyed at hearing they have raised £350.00 through your generosity and are keen to reach their £500 target to support the work of KingsCare. They are rightly proud of themselves.
On the way to St. Pauls Cathedral today we have virtually stopped off at Battersea dogs’ home and had a visit from the lovely “Animal HQ” from Paignton. You will see from the pictures everyone has loved holding and feeding the animals. Just look at the pictures below!
After such a busy day everyone is relaxing with a cup of tea and macaroons revitalising themselves for tomorrow’s cycling.
Please help us by donating anything you can if you can to www.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/southlandscycle21 and send messages to the residents which we will read out at lunchtime tomorrow.
